Sophie age 10 from Limerick ​

• ​Waiting on an essential orthopaedic surgery to complete leg lengthening.
• Had a 27 month wait to be seen at the "annual" Spina bifida multidisciplinary team (MDT) clinic.
• Previously had extensive orthopaedic surgery in both  Children's Health Ireland (CHI) Temple Street and Cappagh Kids. Had very successful outcome.
• Loves sports and music.
• Sophie was the first ever junior captain of the Munster wheelchair hurling/camogie team.
